About Us
Welcome to the all new soundDOME recording studio. SoundDOME studio started out as a dream to record high quality music in an atmosphere that cries out, "I am in a professional studio."
Years ago, I was recording in these professional studios, getting only decent mixes and not the ones I really wanted due to the fact that I didn’t have thousands of dollars to spend. I finally got sick of spending all this money on poor quality mix downs and decided to start investing into my own recording equipment.
Several years passed and after learning and purchasing a lot of gear and doing my own projects as well as plenty of others, I opened my first studio in 1997. The original soundDOME was an incredible success with its amazing live room all done in wood and all the other beautifully laid out rooms as well as all the high end gear and mics. As the years went on and experience grew and the list of equipment got larger, I felt it was time to move on and start a newer , bigger , more sophisticated studio. Here I am proud to introduce to you the ALL NEW soundDOME studio !!!
The new studio has been furnished with only the finest in details, including a live room done completely in stone and 45 degree T&G wood. The control room done in half stone, half acoustic foam and T&G wood with a built in bar and beautiful hardwood flooring. All the rooms are bigger and higher than the old studio so if you liked the old studio, you will love this one. This control room also has surround sound 5.1 capabilities. As for effects and processing, the new studio now has a 7’ tall rack completely filled top to bottom with all types of tube and transistor based units.
Located on the Hamilton mountain and central to all amenities, I once thought that I had fulfilled my dreams in starting a high end studio at much lower costs but now when I stand inside this new studio, look around at all the amazing rooms and listen to the quality of music that is being produced here at such low prices. I can truly say, this is a dream come true !!!
A special thank you too all of you that have supported this studio over and over again threw all these years and I look forward to helping those up and coming musicians achieve their audio master pieces without spending a fortune and maybe even make a few new friends along the way !!
